Keynote Speaker

Janet Burton from University of Wales – Trinity Saint David has confirmed she will be our keynote speaker for this year’s conference! Her research primarily focuses on monastic Wales and northern England. Her most recent book is The Cistercians in the Middle Ages (Woodbridge: Boydell, 2011). Her current research project is “Monastic Wales” which hopes to place monastic Wales in the wider context of monastic Europe in the Middle Ages. The large-scale project seeks to establish a comprehensive monastic history of medieval Wales, the findings of which will be made available to scholars and students, as well as the wider public, both electronically and in print.

We are so very excited to have Dr. Janet Burton as a keynote speaker for our 2013 conference!
